INTRODUCTION

C~Sol-Air heat pipe coils are the leading edge in air-to-air energy recovery.

This innovative technology prevents the energy loss from either chilled air (or warm air) being exhausted from a commercial building by capturing this energy to pre-cool (or pre-warm) make-up fresh air in an adjacent, counterflow air duct.

 

CROSS SECTION OF AIR DUCTWORK

An individual, single, independent heat pipe, (as above) is made of four parts:

1) An extra wide diametre pipe sealed under vacuum.

2) A patented, proprietary mechanical wick.

3) Long profiled fin.

4) A working fluid.

The fluid is in equilibrium with its own vapour - a continuous cycle of evaporation and condensation in "steady state".
