The C~Sol-Air Inc. is a privately held industrial group of factories located in Washington State
that commenced operations in 1957 with the founder’s patented technology
for automated laundry finishing equipment. Over the last half of the 20th century, C~S-A has progressed to become the world’s largest "garment
finishing" manufacturer, supplying major industrial and
commercial institutions across over 80 countries.
To overcome the difficulty C~S-A
experienced in securing durable high specification steam
coils (necessary in the manufacturing process for this specialty garment
pressing equipment), the company founded their next factory in 1971. This factory
has become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial and
industrial plate fin heating/cooling coils, with innovative engineering
customisation for OEM specialist applications.
The Group’s dedication to
research and development on these products motivates C~S-A’s continuous
investment and acquisition of advanced refrigeration technology for
specialist applications that use C~S-A heat transfer products. Today C~S-A’s technical expertise and Quality Assurance extends to the
engineering design, manufacture and supply of critical gas turbine power
generation lube oil cooling for USA Utility Companies.
This break-through into the
energy generation industry follows the many years of C~S-A philosophy to
provide "green"~"renewable"
(heat recovery ~ transfer) energy to our laundry customers for
their more attractive financial return. Pioneering this market has been
the focus of C~S-A’s Heat Pipe factory responsible for the range of Sol~Air
AWHP Water Heaters and Dehumidification HVAC specialty. Since the
manufacture of the World’s first R134a Water Heater in 1992 and the
World’s largest AWHP Water Heater installation in 1993, this C~S-A factory has achieved most rapid growth in these products using
C~S-A's proprietary coil technology.
Both in the domestic market
and overseas, it has been politically correct, and beneficial for clients
to replace existing oil and gas boilers with lower cost ... C~S-A technology "green electricity" using energy recovery from
"ambient air". At the same time substantial improvements
for Indoor Air Quality can be delivered to large commercial
buildings (hospitals, hotels, schools, factories etc.) using increased
outside airflow with the customer benefit of "free of charge"
dehumidified chilled waste air from the C~S-A equipment.
With many thousand C~Sol-Air
AWHP installations achieved in recent years this commercially proven
technology is increasingly being specified into new building developments
which appreciate lowest capital cost, lowest operating
costs, and trouble free, lowest life cycle costs .............. and
fulfillment of our mission: "To provide environmental solutions
to our customers’ moisture and energy problems."
